Aqua Santè is an antibiotic,
steroid free Japanese shrimp feed synbiotic used since
30 years with metabolically active bacterial consortia
and enzyme combination, which synergistically acts
on the intestine of shrimp to improve digestion and
good assimilation of nutrients.

Antibacterial phenomena of
Streptococcus faecalis |
Secretes antagonistic substances
like bacteriocin which effectively prevent the growth
of pathogenic Vibrio Spp.
Streptococcus faecalis can easily proliferate
in the intestine of shrimp. It grows at pH ranging from
4.0 to 9.6. This bacterium propagates actively through
synbiotic action with Clostridium butyricium
and Bacillus mesentericus to yield lactic acid
resulting in decreased intestinal pH thus inhibiting
the proliferation of harmful bacteria. |
|
Clostridium butyricum |
This spore forming bacteria has an
excellent heat, drying, drug resistance capacity and
can prevent the growth of harmful bacteria by producing
butyric acid, which is the result of fission and propagation.
In addition, it generates carbon dioxide to promote
intestinal peristalsis. This bacterium produces a variety
of enzymes including amylase, protease and lactase.
Furthermore, it exhibits a synbiotic action with intestinal
Streptococcus faecalis resulting in a marked
increase when compared in other conditions.
|
|
Bacillus mensentericus |
This spore forming species and Bacillus subtilis,
have excellent acid, heat and drug-resistance and can
produce a high amylase concentration after fission and
proliferation. In addition, it also produces protease
and pectinase. This shows that this bacterium is the
essential energy source for proliferation of intestinal
Streptococcus faecalis. Streptococcus faecalis
proliferates after addition of a filtrate of Bacillus
mesentericus culture solution about 10 times more
rapidly than in single culture.. |
|
Proven function |
Produces novel enzymes, organic acids
to attract feed and antagonize pathogenic Vibrio, enabling
better nutrient assimilation, digestion, thereby keeps
the shrimp free from loose shell syndrome under optimal
conditions. |
